Having earned a Masters in Organic Chemistry from Mysore University with distinction, its no surprise he is regarded a wizard in chemistry with the ability to solve just about any complex problem. A self-initiator with diverse field knowledge in the healthcare industry, Mr. Bairy was awarded the Aryabhata International award for his contribution to Industry in 2015 and more recently the ‘Nutraceutical Company of the Year, 2016’, awarded to his baby Beloorbayir Biotech Limited by ASSOCHAM.
Ajay Bairy holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from Symbiosis Institute of Operations Management, Nashik He joined the Beloorbayir group in 2013 and began with the understanding of plant level operations and management with a full year spent at various manufacturing sites of the group. His engineering degree has been put to excellent use with his self initiated programs that focus on efficiency in production and critical change management. Ajay’s focus is to ensure the business develops into a strong and profitable operation catering to domestic and international needs in a timely and efficient manner.
Rajesh in addition to being a director on the Beloorbayir board, is a designated General Partner in the India Agri Fund, along with Rabobank. He had 28 years of professional experience prior to moving to the Fund, including 10 years in Rabo India Finance where his last assignment was as the Managing Director in charge of corporate and commercial banking. He had also worked in agribusiness consulting for 2 years and with the South Asian Regional Apex Fund (sponsored by Lazard India) for 3 years. He started his career with the Bank of Baroda, where he worked for 12 years in Credit, 9 years in Regional/Zonal Offices in Merchant Banking and Business Development and for 2 years as a Branch Manager.
Rajesh is an Economics graduate and has a professional Law degree.
Suneet joined Rabo Equity in July 2008 and was appointed to the board of Beloorbayir as director in 2014. Prior to Rabo, he had 14 years of professional experience including 14 years in the Private Equity industry with BTS Investment Advisors and IL&FS Investments across functional roles. He has analyzed, invested and exited investments across various sectors including IT, telecom, healthcare, packaging, food processing, logistics, infrastructure etc. He also had consulting experience with GIC Trade in agribusiness projects in the USA.
Suneet holds a Masters in Business Economics from Delhi University and a Bachelors degree in Engineering.
Venkatraman serves as Special Invitee on the Beloorbayir Board. Venkatraman joined the Rabo Group in April 2003 and headed the Food and Agribusiness Research and Advisory team for Rabo India Finance in Mumbai. He was the knowledge manager for various agribusiness sectors and advised Government departments and private companies on agribusiness strategies. Venkatraman moved to Rabo Equity in September 2011. Prior to Rabo, he had 10 years experience as a Brand Manager in Marico, Product Manager in Johnson & Johnson and in Essar Steel.
Venkatraman holds a post-graduate degree in management from IIM Bangalore and a Bachelors degree in Metallurgical Engineering from IIT Mumbai.
Arvind has been practicing as a solicitor since 1991 with focus in the field of property law and related matters. A well know personality in the Karnataka law fraternity, Arvind has been a stand out handling the most complex of cases for various institutions and organisations including the Government of Karnataka. Arvind is an alumnus of St. Joseph’s. He is on the board of many prominent companies and has been an advisor to a number of educational institutions. He has written several articles on various aspects of property law and has been a columnist with "THE HINDU”.
His philanthropic work through his trust, ‘Sri Balabyraweshwara Charitable and Education Trust’, in several parts of Karnataka State has earned him recognition and he is highly respected for his work to empower rural children through education.
Mr. Ashok Sinha is a former member of Indian Administrative Service and has worked for the state of Maharashtra and central government of India in various capacities. He is also a former Secretary to the Government of India in Ministry of Food Processing Industries and was actively involved in the development of food processing infrastructure including mega food parks and cold chains from 2008 to 2011. He has served as the Managing Director of MAFCO Limited and CIDCO limited.
Mr. Ashok Sinha holds Master’s degrees in Physics and Financial management and is an alumnus of Delhi University, Cambridge University, U.K., and Jamnalal Bajaj Institute, Mumbai.
Mr. Arvinder Singh Sodhi holds over two decades of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. His most recent past assignment for over ten years was to set up and head the India operations for a British pharmaceutical company Forum Products Ltd. Prior to Forum his experience includes assignments at Godrej, Jubilant Organosys and Ranbaxy. His strength lies in procurement and sale of active pharmaceutical ingredients from Indian and global manufacturers. In addition to this he is also active with business development initiatives, both in area of API’s and finished dosage forms, with focus in regulated markets. He is a Director in various companies, a Valuable and constructive critic on business decisions.
